Art festival of resistance is the representative of sacred defense culture to the world
President of the cultural commission of Tehran city hall said that visual art can play a vital role in showing the signs and braveries of eight year sacred defense. Talking to the public affair department of the second international art festival of resistance Talaee added that art has a great role in preserving and transferring the identity of a nation and society to other cultures, civilizations and future generations. He also said that visual art has the capability to make a huge contribution to show our youths’ braveries during the eight years of sacred defense.
Regarding holding the second international art festival of resistance as a positive cultural event, he expressed hope that such festivals which have put their focus on sacred defense can take remarkable steps to identify and strengthen artists’ potentials and introduce the values of sacred defense.
He continued by considering the global scope of the festival a positive point and added that this festival has a universal human message for all belief worldwide.
In conclusion he said that Tehran city council is ready for any kind of support to help this festival send its lofty message to the world.
It’s worth to mention that the second art festival of resistance will be held by Ravayat cultural foundation in November and December 2011 in Tehran and other provinces.
